The Kawasaki Environment Research Institute hosts the Kawasaki International Eco-Business Forum as an occasion to exchange and disseminate information on cutting-edge decarbonization technologies developed by companies in Kawasaki City and decarbonization initiatives in and outside of Japan, among other such topics.

This year’s forum, which marks the 100th anniversary of Kawasaki’s municipal founding, will welcome panelists from overseas cities for the first time in five years under the theme of “Toward Sustainable Symbiosis Between Cities and Industry－Green Strategy for the Next 100 Years, Linking Kawasaki and Other Asian Cities－.”

At the Forum, we will hold a panel discussion which aims to identify the challenges Asian cities are currently facing in building a sustainable society for the next 100 years and Kawasaki’s role in solving those challenges.

The forum will be part of the first day’s events at the 17th Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair, which will be held at the same venue. Please feel free to join us.
